2 Days Jinja Tour

Day 1: Meet and greet with your guide and drive towards the Eastern part of Uganda, to Jinja town. Our first stopover will be at Sezibwa Heritage Centre with beautiful sceneries or the Sezibwa River and Falls. Sezibwa River is located few kilometres from Kampala, and empties its waters in Lake Kyoga.
Sezibwa Heritage Centre has a spectacular view of the water falls, rich greenery and abundance of birds. You may do a guided Nature walk, Birding, Scenic viewing from the top of the falls, a Boat drive/canoeing, Community walks, Rock climbing, Mountain biking, primate walk.
Our other stopover will be at Mabira Forest, where you will be able to see and learn about various plants, animals, birds and butterflies. The forest has nature walk trails that are suitable for different categories of people, considering age and abilities. Along the way you be able to visit local markets with fruits. Dinner & overnight at the Hotel/Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 2: After breakfast, ts another day to do a Jinja Tour, You will then visit the source of River Nile, the place where this longest river on planet “Earth” begins it’s majestic journey to the Mediterranean sea. There is a spot where John Speke is reputed to have first documented the source of this great river, while at the source take aboat ride to a point where the River seperates from Lake Victoria whilst the cool breeze. You will also do a Jinja tour visiting different historical sites and a visit to the magnificent Bujagali Falls or Rippon falls. Jinja town is the second  most important capital city of Uganda. The town was the industrial heart of the country in the 1960s and 1970s, enroute you will see beautiful plantations of tea and sugar. Later Return to Kampala. End of Jinja Tour
