Sipi Falls

Day 1: Transfer to Sipi Falls – Mount Elgon 
Meet and greet with your safari guide and transfer from Kampala to the eastern part of Uganda at the Sipi Falls. Our journey with takes us through Sezibwa Falls,  Mabira Forest Reserve if time allows you may take for a briefnature walk to learn of the different plants and butterflies or visit the sezibwa water falls.  Shortly after we will have another stopover at the Source of River Nile, the place where this longest river on planet “Earth” begins it’s majestic journey to the Mediterranean sea. There is a spot where John Speke is reputed to have first documented the source of River Nile, lunch will be served in Jinja. Later proceed through Mbale town to Sipi Falls on Mount Elgon. Dinner & Overnight at the Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 2: Explore Sipi Falls
After early morning breakfast, You guide will take you for a  hike to the Mount Elgon Forest Exploration Centre for a guided nature walk to the sipi falls at the bottom where the water hits  the rocks, you will a breathtaking sound of the sipi falls and you will appreciate nature, you definatley take photographs and later head to the Caves. Alongside the view of the sipi falls, you will be able to visit the local communities and Arabic coffee fields and if time allows you will learn the way this coffee is processed locally. Later drive back to Kampala driving through the local homestead, trading centres, tea and sugar plants, and with scenic view of the River Nile arriving in the evening.
