8 Days Uganda Wildlife Tour

Our Uganda Wildlife Tours will take you to the following National parks i.e Murchison Falls, & Queen Elizabeth National Parks. Activities, game drives, Top of the falls, boat trips along the Nile to the bottom of the Falls on River Nile, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking, Boat trip on Kazinga Channel, tree climbing lions.

Day 01: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
You will be picked from the Airport or your doorstep drive south west through Nakasongola, Masindi to reach the park in the afternoon. As you start the wildlife tour, you may have a stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the white rhinos, have lunch at the sanctuary. On reaching the park you will drive to the top of the falls to see how the calm Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge through which it explodes into the falls. After you will transfer to your lodge. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 02: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early morning breakfast, depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along in the Paraa section. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other animals, return to the lodge for lunch. At 2pm, take a boat cruise to the bottom of the mighty falls, you will see Hippos, crocodiles, elephants and other animals, as well as a variety of bird species, European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 03: Transfer to Hoima
After an early morning breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls National Park with Lunch en route. Visit the community or Chimpanzee Sanctuary projects. Dinner and over night at the Hotel. FB

Day 04 : Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lot of sightseeing en-route, like a clear view of the western arm of the rift valley plus its associated features such as Lake George, and Edward, mountains of the moon and kyambura escarpment. Time allowing you will may visit the Katwe traditional works to see the salt rock. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 05 : Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
A morning wake up call for an early morning breakfast. Our morning safari of Queen Elizabeth National park starts around 6:30am. We depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife. Later, return for breakfast and relax by the pool. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 6: Chimp Tracking in Kyambura Gorge
After breakfast, head to Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee Tracking. The gorge is part of the giant Rift Valley, the place where you will meet your chimpanzee group. The chimpanzees move daily building new nests each day. The chimpanzees are habituated, meaning that they are used to human beings. You will spot other wildlife and birds as you move along on your three hour time of tracking. Later in the afternoon, drive to the crater region where you will take a hire to the craters as you enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overnight at Lodge/Camp. FB

Day 7: Ishasha Sector – Tree Climbing Lions
After breakfast, depart to ishasha sector, in the afternoon take a game drive in Ishasha Plains in search of tree climbing Lions lazily lying on the fig trees. You may also see Leopards, herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, antelopes and lots of savanna birds. Dinner and Overnight at Ishasha wilderness Camp. FB

Day 8: Ishasha – Departure
After breakfast at visit the nearby river gurgling by and morning birds chirping away, in the distance some animals are moving away. Have another drive through the Ishasha Plains taking another look and last look at the tree climbing lions and the abundance of wildlife found in that part of the park. Later drive back to Kampala and be transferred to the Airport to take the flight back.
